Brixton is 1!! (Jan 5th)

I can't believe my baby is already one!! It seriously seems like just yesterday he was born and we were taking him home from the hospital. It's crazy how fast the years fly by! We had a birthday party for him over at Nate's parents with pizza cake and lots of fun! He loved every minute of it! Especially the part where he got to tear into his cake! He is so sweet and gentle about EVERYTHING he does that he really didnt even get that messy! haha we had to like paint his face for him to realize it was ok to get messy! I'm so thankful for his SWEET spirit and for how much peace joy and love he brings me! He is seriously the worlds BEST baby! He never cries, he is ALWAYS happy and just such a joy to be around!! Happy 1st Birthday Brixton Kash Mulcock I LOVE YOUUUU!!!! :)

Now that you have kind of gotten a glimps of what we have been through lately I will try and stay more on top of this haha. Through everything my family has been through the past few months I have learned so much. Mostly that the power of prayer is so strong. If we stay close to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ we can make it through the hardest of times. I have prayed more than I have in a long long time and have gained such a strong testimony in the church! My baby brother left on his mission on December 7th and it was the hardest yet most rewarding thing. He is going to do awesome!!! He is one amazing young man! Till next time friends! :)

A New Start!

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
These past few weeks have been a very trying time with our family. But beyond all the tragedy it has made me grow closer to the Lord and made my testimony stronger about the power of prayer. We may not like the things we have been dealt in life but god has a plan for all of us and all of our trials and tribulations happen for a reason. We are given the challenges in life that God knows we can overcome and that will make us stronger! I love my family so so much and I am so thankful for Nate, Hayden, and Brixton! They are my whole world and with out them life wouldn't be. Nate is such a wonderful man with such a good heart and worlds best dad! Hayden and Brixton are just the the greatest kids ever! They all bring me such joy! Im so thankful for the gospel in my life and for the opportunity to be here on this earth!! :)

Just a little preview of Brixton's photo shoot! They turned out so cute! Thanks Ashley!

Our Fun Presidents Day Weekend!!

So this past weekend we decided to go on a little family adventure to the dunes! We went with Nates family and took both the boys. Even though Brixton had no idea what was going on it was fun having everyone there. Hayden had an absolute blast!! Who needs Disneyland when you got the dunes!!! haha I have never seen him so entertained and so excited to be there! We brought his little motorized quad and some sand toys and he was set!!! He wanted to ride with the big boys so bad so Steve took him on his own little ride in the rhino around the camp site and he loved it! I'm so glad we decided to go and to take the boys! They did awesome in the car ride too! Besides having to stop to feed Brixton a couple of times the ride was great! Hayden had snacks and toys and slept most of the way. There were so many great memories made and everyone had a blast! We of course had to go shopping too! SOOOO we all got our Glamis shirts even the little boys and Sarah and I got to design our own sweat pants with jewels that say glamis dunes and a picture.  Sarah got a sweet truck and I got a skull with a bow for our pictures on the pants whoop whoop! We all had so much fun and there were definitely lasting memories made! Cant wait for the next family trip to the BEACH!! :)

Just Some Conference Love

Just some quotes from the apostles that we need to live by and that i totally love :)

"We have all made incorrect choices. If you have not already corrected your choices, I assure you that there is a way to do so. The process is called repentance ... Our Savior died to provide you and me that blessed gift ... Don’t put your eternal life at risk. The sooner you begin to make your way back, the sooner you will find the sweet peace and joy that come with the miracle of forgiveness." President Thomas S. Monson

“As children of God, knowing of His great love and His ultimate knowledge of what is best for our eternal welfare, we trust in Him. The first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and faith means trust.” Dallin H Oaks

“All you have to do is trust your Heavenly Father. Trust Him enough to follow His plan.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf
"Heavenly Father offers to you the greatest gift of all—eternal life—and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your own “happily ever after.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf
"If you ever feel your burden is too great to bear, lift your heart to your Heavenly Father, and He will uphold and bless you. He says to you, as He said to Joseph Smith, “[Your] adversity and [your] afflictions shall be but a small moment; and then, if [you] endure it well, God shall exalt [you] on high.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Enduring adversity is not the only thing you must do to experience a happy life. Let me repeat: how you react to adversity and temptation is a critical factor in whether or not you arrive at your own “happily ever after.”"Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Your future is not determined by the conditions around you. It is determined by your faith, your choices, and your efforts." Paul V Johnson

“If we approach adversities wisely, our hardest times can be times of greatest growth, which in turn can lead toward times of greatest happiness.” Paul V Johnson
