Now that you have kind of gotten a glimps of what we have been through lately I will try and stay more on top of this haha. Through everything my family has been through the past few months I have learned so much. Mostly that the power of prayer is so strong. If we stay close to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ we can make it through the hardest of times. I have prayed more than I have in a long long time and have gained such a strong testimony in the church! My baby brother left on his mission on December 7th and it was the hardest yet most rewarding thing. He is going to do awesome!!! He is one amazing young man! Till next time friends! :)

A New Start!

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
These past few weeks have been a very trying time with our family. But beyond all the tragedy it has made me grow closer to the Lord and made my testimony stronger about the power of prayer. We may not like the things we have been dealt in life but god has a plan for all of us and all of our trials and tribulations happen for a reason. We are given the challenges in life that God knows we can overcome and that will make us stronger! I love my family so so much and I am so thankful for Nate, Hayden, and Brixton! They are my whole world and with out them life wouldn't be. Nate is such a wonderful man with such a good heart and worlds best dad! Hayden and Brixton are just the the greatest kids ever! They all bring me such joy! Im so thankful for the gospel in my life and for the opportunity to be here on this earth!! :)

Our Fun Presidents Day Weekend!!

So this past weekend we decided to go on a little family adventure to the dunes! We went with Nates family and took both the boys. Even though Brixton had no idea what was going on it was fun having everyone there. Hayden had an absolute blast!! Who needs Disneyland when you got the dunes!!! haha I have never seen him so entertained and so excited to be there! We brought his little motorized quad and some sand toys and he was set!!! He wanted to ride with the big boys so bad so Steve took him on his own little ride in the rhino around the camp site and he loved it! I'm so glad we decided to go and to take the boys! They did awesome in the car ride too! Besides having to stop to feed Brixton a couple of times the ride was great! Hayden had snacks and toys and slept most of the way. There were so many great memories made and everyone had a blast! We of course had to go shopping too! SOOOO we all got our Glamis shirts even the little boys and Sarah and I got to design our own sweat pants with jewels that say glamis dunes and a picture.  Sarah got a sweet truck and I got a skull with a bow for our pictures on the pants whoop whoop! We all had so much fun and there were definitely lasting memories made! Cant wait for the next family trip to the BEACH!! :)

Just Some Conference Love

Just some quotes from the apostles that we need to live by and that i totally love :)

"We have all made incorrect choices. If you have not already corrected your choices, I assure you that there is a way to do so. The process is called repentance ... Our Savior died to provide you and me that blessed gift ... Don’t put your eternal life at risk. The sooner you begin to make your way back, the sooner you will find the sweet peace and joy that come with the miracle of forgiveness." President Thomas S. Monson

“As children of God, knowing of His great love and His ultimate knowledge of what is best for our eternal welfare, we trust in Him. The first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and faith means trust.” Dallin H Oaks

“All you have to do is trust your Heavenly Father. Trust Him enough to follow His plan.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf
"Heavenly Father offers to you the greatest gift of all—eternal life—and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your own “happily ever after.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf
"If you ever feel your burden is too great to bear, lift your heart to your Heavenly Father, and He will uphold and bless you. He says to you, as He said to Joseph Smith, “[Your] adversity and [your] afflictions shall be but a small moment; and then, if [you] endure it well, God shall exalt [you] on high.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Enduring adversity is not the only thing you must do to experience a happy life. Let me repeat: how you react to adversity and temptation is a critical factor in whether or not you arrive at your own “happily ever after.”"Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Your future is not determined by the conditions around you. It is determined by your faith, your choices, and your efforts." Paul V Johnson

“If we approach adversities wisely, our hardest times can be times of greatest growth, which in turn can lead toward times of greatest happiness.” Paul V Johnson

My big 2 year old!! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sweet sweet baby boy! I can't believe another year has past and he is already 2! It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital with the little guy fighting hard to grow big and strong! I am the luckiest mommy ever! He is such a sweet boy and is so so full of life! No matter how bad my day is or how bad my mood is every time I see his face my whole day is turned around! I am so blessed!! Well we are having his birthday party tonight at peter piper pizza and he is so excited! Even though his new favorite word is "no" and he says he doesn't want a party I know he does :) I attempted to make the lighting mcqueen cake like I told you I would, ya it was a disaster, and after 2 attempts and mine and michelle's thoughts and ideas put together, we decided to forget it and just ordered a darn cake!! haha oh well at least I can say I tried! All I know is I have the most amazing little guy and I can't believe how fast he is growing! Happy 2nd birthday bug!!! Mommy loves you very much!! :)

My New Life :)

Well we have officially made it through the first week of Brixton's life! Everything is going great!! Ive almost got the hang of breastfeeding, and he now weighs 7lbs 1oz! He is such a good baby and I'm so grateful because having two is hard enough! He does great at night too! He has been on a great schedule only waking up at 1 and 5! I am so blessed! Hayden absolutely adores him! He is always wanting to help and hold brother! He has definitely become mommy's little helper! I have been so busy this past week trying to get his birthday party put together! We decided to do a Disney Cars theme since he is obsessed with Lightning McQueen! I am going to attempt to make my own cake of the actual car itself so I will let you know how well that turns out! ha ha I can't believe my little guy is already turning 2! Time sure flies and having a newborn and a 2 yr old definitely makes you realize how fast they really do grow up! I love being a stay at home mommy with my two little guys and I wouldn't trade it for the world!! :)

Brixton Kash Mulcock has arrived! 1/5/2011

My baby boy has finally arrived! After a long time patiently waiting for his debut, I went into labor on Wednesday January 5th 2011! It started out as a normal day doing the daily routine of waking up and getting ready for the day! Around 10:30 am I went in to take a shower and noticed I was bleeding pretty bad and immediately knew this was it! I waited it out just to see if the bleeding would stop but then the contractions hit! At first they were not too intense and far apart which was normal to what I had been having a week prior. After going to lunch with Nate's mom and dad at the one and only Costa Vida the contractions were getting worse. We went back to his parents house and when I noticed the bleeding hadn't stopped I decided it was time to go! Nate his mom and I rushed down to the hospital. By this time it was 2pm. When they checked me I was dilated to a 4 almost 5 and contractions had picked up to every 2 minutes! I knew right away he was coming that day!! We were finally admitted and things started progressing! I dilated to a 7 in no time! Then I hit a little bump in the road and Brixton had decided to turn his little body so he was face up instead of face down which caused my contractions to stop! Dr Huish got me started on potossin to speed things up and hopefully he would turn. I slowly progressed to an 8 and then to a 9. Because things weren't going as fast as they were we knew he hadn't turned. So Dr Huish had to come in and flip him so things could move along... within no time of him flipping him I was at a 10 and ready to push! After 7 minutes of pushing and almost 6 hours in labor Brixton Kash Mulcock was born! He arrived at 7:47 pm weighing 6lbs 13oz 19 3/4 in long! Pretty great size for being 36 weeks! He was doing very well and only had low blood sugar right after being born but it quickly went up after a good feeding! :) Blonde little hair and his mommas nose and his daddy's cheeks! :) Such a precious sweet spirit! I decided to breastfeed which is totally new to me. We had a little trouble in the beginning but he is doing a lot better with it now! After 36 hours of being born Brixton came down w jondus. They say its usual in babies who are born early. Because of this though he had to be taken from the room and put in the special care nursery. :( Sadly he won't be coming home with us but he is a fighter already and will be better in no time. They are talking about letting me nest here since I have to be discharged today. That way I can still be down here for him and not feel so down about being away from him. I hope and pray we get to do that! I am so thankful he is finally here and everything went great! He is a sweet little guy straight from heaven and I couldn't ask for anything more perfect! Hayden absolutely loves him already! He is kinda scared to hold him by himself right now but is definitely a proud big brother!!! Nate is already the worlds best dad! He is so proud of his little boy and loves him to death! He is wanting to change his diapers and feed him ( even though he can't really help w that part yet) :( but he is so careful and sweet with him and I love watching their bond already! I can't wait to take the little guy home and start the real journey! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to! :) Thanks to all the family and friends who have given love and support! We really do appreciate every minute of it and couldn't do it with out you guys! :)
